As an integral part of the new Aveda Montreal Lifestyle Salon Spa & Academy, the Academy’s unique personalized program and its points of difference already position it as a leader in the industry. The Aveda Montreal Lifestyle is the newest member of the current prestigious international Aveda Lifestyle destinations located in Tokyo, Osaka, Madrid, Berlin, London and New York.

Our program offers new hairstylists, who have completed their studies in hairstyling and have a DEP (diploma) or equivalent industry experience, the opportunity to develop their skills in both cut and colour. The program provides dualists with the tools necessary to reach a level of excellence.

The personalized training program is divided into three levels of education:

1-Specialize, 2-Explore and 3-Refine. Development throughout these three levels continually encourages and inspires creativity and professional evolution.

 

The 8-month course is taught by educators who meet the standards of excellence recognized by the Aveda global network. The program consists of 5 days a week of training in the Academy, during which the student will take part in 40 hours of education (4 hours of theory and 36 hours of practical experience working with guests). Upon completion of this program, the dualist will have received 4 months of training in both cutting and coloring.
